With the camps in Engure, everything remains the same, because we have realized that it is really much more convenient for parents to bring and take out their children on weekends. But for the foreign camps, we will fly by plane, which means that we meet at the airport a few hours before the flight to check all the documents and get everything done without rushing.
Those who come to us every year surely know that we take care of children’s safety first, that’s why we always have insurance and attentive, experienced teachers and leaders in all camps. Each camp has at least one camp manager with appropriate certification and experience who is able to manage the team, children and anticipate and react in any situation in time.
And of course, we must not forget that children need to have a good break and rest from their daily routine. Therefore, we try to think carefully about our programs and supplement them with various activities. Since we have bought laser tag and virtual reality glasses, we use it every camp, but in addition to that there are other entertainments – inflatable attractions, foam parties, carousels, excursions to different places and many other things that we add to the camps.
Being sports fans ourselves, we also integrate it into all our camps. Every day in the program we have a fitness class (15:00 – 16:00) during which the whole camp exercises together and improves their physical condition. Sports entertainment is also something we do every day, because children like it very much and it is good for them. We play standard sports games – football, basketball, volleyball, as well as popular camp games – cone game, pioneer ball, rainbow, Star Team, forest game, evening track, capture the flag, etc.
Usually, big sports games like this take place after midnight, around 5:00 pm, and in the evening we usually have evening events that the kids look forward to. We run such popular camp events as: Eurovision, Miss and Mr. Albatross, Comedy Club, Wonderland, Dance Battle, etc. Since we do a lot of sports and spend energy, we also tend to have relaxation days where in the evening we enjoy watching a movie on the big screen together, the children curl up in blankets and laugh cozily at some children’s comedy.
And finally, we would like to tell you about our excellent cooks. We must not forget about them, because we are fed so deliciously and with love only at home. How cool to come for breakfast and bite into freshly baked pancakes with jam or freshly made porridge. In the afternoon, everything is as it should be, a delicious soup and the second one. There are always fresh vegetables, compote and various sauces on the table, as well as children can adjust and add if they want an extra portion. The food is really very tasty because this guest house has its own kitchen and professional cooks with huge experience. Our team is always friends with them and we often discuss what is best to serve when, so that the food also fits into the program.
